Drag assigned students into the schedule

What does the function mean?

Once a student has been added to a course's waitlist, a super user can easily assign them to a teacher. You’ll then see those students listed to the left of the teacher’s schedule in the planning view. From there, you can simply drag and drop them into the schedule where needed.

Why should I use this feature?

It's the easiest and fastest way to put students into the schedule.

How does it work?

Simply grab the student and drag them into the schedule. You can drop them onto an existing booking, or place them in an empty slot to create a new booking for them.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the assigned teachers schedule and click ‘Administrate’ to view their timetable.

  2. Click on the ‘Planning mode’ tab and navigate to make sure you are in the correct week when the student is dur to start lessons

  3. To the left of the schedule, you will see all students assigned to the teacher are now displayed (these are in grey boxes). Select a student and drag them out to an existing booking or drop the student into an empty spot in the schedule to create a new booking.

* The topic listed under the student's name must correspond to the topic of the booking to which the student is added. For example, if it says ‘Bass Guitar’ under the student's name, the student should be added to a booking with the subject of ‘ Bass Guitar’.

  • A pop up box will appear confirming the details of the lessons for you to approve.
  • Once you're satisfied, click ‘Next.’

  • If you select a day and time that doesn’t already have a booking and topic in place you will have the opportunity to change these details before confirming.

  • Once you're satisfied, click ‘Next.’

Choose if you want to:

  1. Book the student directly
  2. Add the student to the booking and send a custom message
  3. Send a ‘Booking offer’ to the parent of the student asking them to confirm the place by a certain date.
