What? The application for instrument hire allows students and guardians to apply for a hires instrument online.
Why? Applying for instrument hire allows students to access a quality instrument without the high upfront cost of purchasing one. It gives learners the opportunity to practice regularly, participate fully in lessons, and develop their musical skills over time at an affordable cost.
How? Follow the steps below to access and enable applications for instrument hire.
Step 1: Activate and set up application
Navigate through ‘Settings’, ‘Registration’ and then ‘Instrument hire request’. Here you can choose whether the applications should be active or not, allowing you to open them only during a specific time period.
- In "Checkout Fieldset", select the application form that guardians should use to apply for a hires instrument. These fieldsets can be defined under Registration settings - Fieldsets.
Step 2: Add questions
In the tab "Questions", you can add additional questions for guardians to answer when when filling out the application. Click on Preview to see a draft of the questionnaire.
Fill out the information, ensuring all the required fields are populated.

When asked to upload files, the formats that are permitted are stored, (Maximum file size: 1024 MB)
After completing the form, guardians are required to select the student for which they are applying.
