What does this function do?
This function allows you to change the course of a booking that currently has no students or has never had any students.
Why should I use this function?
You can directly change the course of an empty booking.
If there are or have been students in the booking, it is not possible to change the course because there is a history related to students and fees connected to the booking. In that case, you can instead copy the booking and move the students to the new booking.
How do I change the course on a booking?
If there are neither current nor past students in the booking:
- Click on the booking
- Click on the three dots
- Click on "Change course on booking"
If there are or have been students in the booking:
- In this case you need to create a new booking and move the students to it.
Step 1: Copy the old booking
- Click on the booking you want to change the course of and click on the icon to copy it.
- The copy then appears directly underneath the old booking.
Step 2: Adjust the new booking

Click on the three dots on the new booking and select "Change course on booking". Select the new course from the drop-down and click "Update".

Click the pencil to edit the booking

Make sure the booking has the correct times. To edit future instances, make sure to turn on the switch:
Note: StudyPlanners are not carried over when copying a booking. If you use StudyPlanners, you will need to create a new one for your each new booking you create.
Step 3: Move the students
Option 1: Within the booking
To move students to the new booking, see the guide Moving students between courses (same fee)
Note: This requires the right 'Manage all bookings'
- Go to the old booking and click on the 'Students' tab
- Search for the students you want to add to the booking using the search box, adding directly from the waiting list or choosing an existing student
Option 2: From the schedule
- Click on the booking in the schedule and select 'Move student's'

- or Move students between courses (different fee)
- If you move all students from the old booking, you will be asked whether you want to discontinue or keep the empty booking in the schedule.
