What does this function do?
Under the tab ‘Resources’ inside a booking, you can change the room for bookings. The tool is flexible, and you can choose whether you want to change the room for a single occasion or for all upcoming occasions.
“The Resources tab within a booking allows you to change the room assigned to that booking. When updating the room, you can choose to apply the change to just one specific occurrence or to all upcoming occurrences in the booking series. This provides flexibility when managing room allocations.”
Why should I use this function?
Teachers may sometimes need to change rooms for their teaching, either temporarily or permanently. It is easy to adjust in the course booking to ensure the timetable is correct.

How do I change the room for a course?
- Under the ‘Resources’ tab , click ‘booking’
- Find the ‘Booking’ you need to adjust and click on it
- In this booking, click the ‘Resources’ tab.
- Select the date that the room change should begin
- Mark whether the change should apply only to the selected occurrence or all upcoming occurrences. *Remember to select the correct week you want the room change to happen*
- Finally, click ‘+ Add room’ to save your changes.
In the ‘Add room’ box that appears, select -
- ‘School/Venue’
- ‘Room’
- Click ‘Save’
- Click the ‘bin’ icon next to the old room to remove it.
If ‘Include future instances’ was selected (blue), the room will be removed from this and all upcoming occurances.
If ‘Include future instances’ was not selected (white), the room will be removed only from the selected occurance.
