What: In the publishing flow, you can set different statuses for your courses.
Why: To keep track of courses that are not published, for example by marking them as "Ready to publish" or "On hold".
How:
Follow the steps below to setup structure the publishing flow:
- When a course is created, it goes under the “New” tab where it will stay until it is assigned a new status. There are different statuses that can be assigned to create structure in the workflow.
- When you want to publish a course, you can either select the course and click “Publish Selected” or change the status to “Published”.
- You can use “Ready to Publish” to mark that you have reviewed and approved the course but have not published it yet.
- You can use "On hold" if something needs to be changed in the course before it is published.
- Under the tab “Unpublished”, courses that you have unpublished will be listed. You can also move courses here by changing the status of them to “Unpublished”.
Tip: Select the course and click “Send message” to send a message to the person who created the course, where you can inform them of what changes need to be made.
