Structure the publishing flow

What: In the publishing flow, you can set different statuses for your courses.

Why: To keep track of courses that are not published, for example by marking them as "Ready to publish" or "On hold".

How:

Follow the steps below to setup structure the publishing flow:

  1. When a course is created, it goes under the “New” tab where it will stay until it is assigned a new status. There are different statuses that can be assigned to create structure in the workflow.
  2. When you want to publish a course, you can either select the course and click “Publish Selected” or change the status to “Published”.
  3. You can use “Ready to Publish” to mark that you have reviewed and approved the course but have not published it yet.
  4. You can use "On hold" if something needs to be changed in the course before it is published.
  5. Under the tab “Unpublished”, courses that you have unpublished will be listed. You can also move courses here by changing the status of them to “Unpublished”.

Tip: Select the course and click “Send message” to send a message to the person who created the course, where you can inform them of what changes need to be made.
