What does this feature mean?
When renting out instruments, it is common to draw up a rental agreement for guardians to sign. This agreement can be uploaded into Play and the system will fill in details about the selected instrument, the renter, and the payer.
Why should I use this feature?
- The feature automatically fills in the desired details about the instrument, student, and payer, and generates an agreement that can be downloaded as a PDF.
- The agreement can also be sent directly to the student and guardian from SpeedAdmin.
- Currently, there is no functionality to sign agreements within SpeedAdmin; this must be done outside the system.
How do I use this feature?
- Before you can start using the feature, you need to submit your rental agreement in Word format to support, who will create autofill fields in the document and upload it to the system.
- Remember not to use table formatting in the Word file, as it cannot be uploaded to the system if tables are used.
Download Instrument Rental Agreement
- Go to a student and click the "Hire Instrument" tab or go to the instrument
- Click on "Download"
- Select the "Instrument Rental" template
- Keep the checkbox ticked if you want to open an email to the student/guardian with the template automatically attached as a PDF, or untick the box to just download the document.
- Click "Export"
