What is an academic teaching plan: Academic teaching plans outline the structure, content, and delivery method of a course or subject over a set time period.
Why do you need an academic teaching plan: If you do not have any academic teaching plans built, there will be no bookings in place for your students.
How to create an academic teaching plan:
Follow these steps to create an academic teaching plan:
Step 1: Navigate to Settings/ School & Term/ Academic teaching plans/ select the teaching period:
Step 2: Choose an existing plan:
Or create a new plan:
Step 3: Add dates to the plan
You can add the dates one at a time by clicking on them or use one of the quick fill options, 'Mark all Mon-Fri' or Mark all Mon-Sun'. Using a quick fill will populate all the dates.
To remove any dates that have been added by mistake, simply click on the blue date to remove it. REMEMBER TO SAVE
Step 4: Use the Count button to check you have enough teaching days in place:
Remember, if you make any changes to always hit SAVE.
