Adding instruments

What: To create your hire instruments in the system and link them to a fee.

Why: To get an overview of your instruments and to be able to assign instruments to students for hire, as well as creating an instrument hire agreement with information taken from the instruments you have set up.

How:

To create a hire instrument, follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to the “Type of Instrument” (#3) page via the “Instrument” (#2) menu in Settings (#1).

  2. Click “Create” to open the creation menu, where you can set the name of your instrument type (#1), and then select a fee (#2): 

  3. Next, click “Resources” and “Instruments”  

  4. Once in the “Instruments” menu, click “Create” (#1).
  5. Select the “Type of instrument” from the drop-down menu (#2), give the instrument a name (#3) and check the “Hire instrument” box (#4).
  6. Fill in any other information and click “Create” to add your instrument to the system (#5).
