What: That you can easily assign instruments to students who rent from the Culture/Music School.
Why: To be able to invoice for instrument rental and get an overview of which instruments are on loan.
How:
To assign hires instruments to students, you need to have the user right P_INSTRUMENT_HIREINSTRUMENTS. If you are a SuperUser, you have this right by default. If you do not have this right, you can ask a SuperUser to assign it to you.
To assign a hire instrument to a student, follow the below steps:
- Go to the student's profile and then click the “Hired Instrument” tab.
Click on “Hire Instrument(s)”.
- In the “State” drop-down menu, select “Available” to show all instruments ready for hire:
Select the instrument to be hired by checking the box next to it (#1) and then clicking “Hire Instrument(s)”:
Check the hirer (#1) and payer (#2) are correct before selecting the dates the hire will start and end (#3, and #4 if applicable), and the fee to be paid (#5). Once happy, click “Save”.
The instrument will now be viewable on the student’s profile under the “Hired Instrument” tab:
