It's possible to call Instrument hire application information in your E-mails using the merge field:

To designate what information is displayed when using the merge field mark the relevant fields in SETTINGS -> RESOURCE TYPES -> INSTRUMENT HIRE
Once the fields have been designated it will display this information as part of the merge fields for the recipients.
