This guide will show you how to control notification settings for different user types, and provide some examples of the notifications received.
Setting up user notifications (Settings > Notification Subscription Settings)
You can decide which notifications your different user types should receive. Each user has their own tab:
- Teacher - for each category/event, select ‘Yes’ if your teachers should receive a notification. Decide whether the notification should be sent as a web notification (seen via the globe symbol when logged in to SpeedAdmin), instant, daily or weekly:
Hover over the help symbol for more information about each notification - Any changes will immediately apply to new users. If you are applying/changing the settings and want these to apply to existing users, select the three lines in the right-hand corner and ‘set for everyone’:
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 for Student, Parent/guardian, Superuser and User profiles.
- Under the Settings tab, you can schedule the times for daily and weekly email notifications:
