The option to record student attendance for lessons
Why should I use this feature?
A complete overview of students’ attendance, so I can see who has attended the lesson and where I need to intervene. Has the teacher worked during this period?
How do I record attendance in the app?
Teachers must be logged in to the SpeedAdmin Play app to record attendance.
Step 1: Log in to the SpeedAdmin Play app
- Go to attendance at the bottom of the menu
- Swipe right to record the student as present
- In groups, you can record the entire group as present by swiping on the group name
- To change the attendance for an individual student in the group, you can swipe left on the student
- Swipe left to select another attendance reason
- In groups, you can record the entire group with another attendance reason by swiping left on the group name
Step 2: Record attendance for all students on the day
- Go to attendance at the bottom of the menu
- At the top of the page, you can select a date
- Select ’Mark all’ to mark all students as present for the day
- After all students have been marked, you can change the attendance for individual students by swiping left on the individual student
- Select ’Clear all’ to remove all registrations for the day.
