How to use worktime registration

What: Work time is a useful timetable function that can help note where and when a teacher is working.

Why: By noting a teacher’s working time, availability for further bookings can be clearly seen and assist with timetable booking.

How:

Follow the steps below to setup working time on a teacher’s timetable:

  1. Navigate to the relevant teacher’s profile either via the Super Search or “Resources”.

  3. As shown in the above screenshot, work through each item and select:
    1. An Academic Year Plan – this will match the teaching days set according to whichever you choose
    2. Set a title – this could be the name of the school, instrument, etc.
    3. Set a start date, a start time and end time
    4. Check whether this is a recurring booking i.e. is it a one-off, or will it run several times
      1. If it is a recurring booking, select the interval (e.g. every day, week, month, etc.), whether it is ongoing, or whether it will only run for a set number of sessions
    5. Choose the venue/school
    6. Select who is to be the owner of the booking (in most cases, this will be the teacher)
  4. Click “Save” once completed, and the booking will be created. It will appear on the “Working Time” tab as shown in the first screenshot, and on the other tab views as shown in the second screenshot.
