Help guardians create an account

What: As a super user, you can add guardians and students to SpeedAdmin.

Why: The safest way to get guardians and students into the system is to let the guardian register themselves and the student via the Course Catalogue. But sometimes that is not possible, so you as a super user can then add guardians and students manually.

How:

Follow the steps below to add a new guardian before adding a student or students:

1. Navigate to the guardian menu by going to “Resources” and then clicking “Guardian”.
2. Click “Create” (#1) to load the “Add Guardian” (#2) menu and then fill the information in as required. Click on the eye symbol next to a field if you want to hide the information from other users.
3. When you are done, click ”Save” (#3).
4. To then add a student, navigate to the guardian profile, click on the plus sign (#1) in the “Students” section and then click “Add Student” (#2).
5. Fill in the information in the box that appears. Click on the eye symbol next to a field if you want to hide the information from other users, and click “Save” when you are done.
