What: In Play!, you will have access to different types of users. It can be, for example:
- Teacher: permanent Teacher
- Substitute: teaches occasionally
- User: another employee who needs access to SpeedAdmin
- External user: another person who is not an employee, but who needs access to SpeedAdmin, e.g. to be able to see room bookings or other things.
- SuperUser: an employee who is an administrator in SpeedAdmin.
It is possible to create user types as needed. If you need other or more user types, please contact Support.
Why: All users of SpeedAdmin must have a profile. Teachers' and users' profiles must be created manually by a superuser.
How:
Follow the steps below to create a new teacher or user:
- In the "Resources" tab, select "Teacher/User"
- Click on "Create Teacher" if you want to create a teacher. Click on "Create User" if you want to create another user.
- Fill in the fields with information about the teacher/user.
- Select which user type it is and which rights groups this teacher/user should be a member of. You can select as many rights groups as you need.
- If necessary, add a profile picture and press "Save" when you are done.
